Getting to Honde Valley
From Harare
The Eastern Highlands approach runs through Rusape towards Juliasdale. Your host should confirm the onward connection to the Honde Valley Road and the final route to your stay.
From Mutare
Approach on the road towards Nyanga, then take the Honde Valley turn-off. The road descends into the valley; the correct final turn depends on your destination.
Before you set off
Ask your host or driver for a current map pin, road update and vehicle advice. Nearby mountain attractions may require a separate route; a short distance on the map does not mean a short drive. Confirm transfer quotes and pickup arrangements in advance.
Route overview checked 26 September 2026 against Eastern Highlands travel information, NZiRA’s Honde Valley route account and SkyRun’s local directions. These are orientation notes, not live road conditions or a bus timetable.
